The preservation and enjoyment of Napa County's natural resources

Publications:

District Master Plan: 2008-2013

Current Projects:

• Opening public regional park in the Moore Creek watershed;

• Construct Napa River and Bay trail from American Canyon to Napa;

• Restore native vegetation at the Napa River Ecological Reserve;

• Planning for group/environmental education camp at Lake Berryessa;

• Planning new trails at Milliken Reservoir, Lake Hennessey, and Rector Ridge;

• Developing environmental/historical/cultural interpretive materials for placement in District parks and trails

Volunteer Needs:

• Trail building;

• Erosion control;

• Habitat restoration;

• Field investigations (by skilled naturalists) to determine natural resources.

• Development of environmental education lesson plans for students

In-kind Needs:

Food and wine donations to support volunteer projects.
