Profile Your Watershed Group

The WICC invites you to profile your watershed group on our web site and gain access to the helpful web tools and services available to participating groups.

Create a WICC web page for your watershed group in two easy steps.

  1. Log-in (or sign-up if you don't already have an account--you must be a registered site user to create a watershed group profile).

  2. Complete the watershed group form.

Once you submit the form, the WICC site administrator will review it and publish your group information on the site or contact you with any questions. In either case, you will hear back from the WICC site administrator, typically, within 5 business days.

Top two reasons to profile your watershed group:

  • More easily reach out to and communicate with other watershed stewards, educators, planners, researchers, and the community-at-large.

  • Get access to useful web tools and services that can help build membership and group capacity, improve resource use, enhance project collaboration, and increase education and outreach opportunities. These tools and services include:

    • Uploading of documents and multimedia files to the library for viewing or downloading by others. Documents and files added to the group’s public library folder are also automatically linked from the group’s WICC web page.

    • Publishing calendar events and group meetings including an RSVP feature for group members.

    • Initiating discussion topics in the group discussion forums.

    • Allowing other registered users to request membership in your group or to subscribe to your group’s information updates.

    • Enhancing your WICC web page by directly linking customized maps, group calendar items, or documents and files to it.
