Napa Solano Audubon Society
Our mission is to inform & educate about the importance of ecosystem conservation with a focus on birds, other wildlife & their habitats. We offer programs, field trips, educational outreach; We participate in "Citizen Science" projects; We researched & published the "Breeding Birds of Napa County" & are currently working on our new project"Wildlife Habitat Restoration in Vineyards, Ag lands & Beyond," funded by a grant from 'Together Green;' Our first workshop is scheduled for Wed. Feb. 18, 9:00AM to 2:30PM at Skyline Park in Napa. Presentations include establishing native plant hedgerows, importance of biodiversity adjacent to agriculture, invasive weed species & their control, identifying & support of birds and other wildlife and more.
