Friends of the Napa River (FONR)
The community's voice for the responsible protection, restoration, development and celebration of the Napa River and its watershed through education and advocacy.
Education and Outreach
Annual river events: River Festival on Labor Day Weekend, Spring Celebration in May. Classroom education throughout the year.
Restoration, Enhancement and Implementation
FONR helps organizing the annual river cleanup. Volunteer support of restoration projects, e.g. Oxboew Preserve.
Watershed Monitoring
Several projects to measure and monitor riparian habitat quality.
